I'm looking for a program with photoshop tools, you know take a part off a picture and put it in another. Would anybody give me some programs that i could use? I've already tried Gimpshot and my laptop couldn't run it.

If you can't use GIMP, try a program called "Paint Dot Net."

I started using it a few years ago, so I don't know if it's still around, but it's worth a shot. Once I managed to get a copy of Photoshop I ended up ditching it, but it worked well for what I needed it for. If you'd like a basic program that lets you create signatures, userbars, or other graphics that're similar, that'll work fine.

I'd recommend pixir. It's an in-browser alternative for photoshop with a few utilities, but nothing compared to photoshop (which really, none of the alternatives have).

It works with layers as well, and should be way better for your CPU (i'm assuming this is why you cant run photoshop).

There are alternatives to Photoshop, but most of them are nothing compared to it.
You could try Paint.NET, Corel Paint Shop Pro, and The Gimp.

I used Gimp a few years ago before I got Photoshop. It is definitely a great alternative and if you learn to use it well enough, you'll find that you can do the same things on Photoshop in Gimp, it just takes a few more steps and different functions etc. It's free as well and quite stable so you've really got nothing to lose here.

I would give Paint.NET or GIMP a try.
I started alot of my GFX off with Paint.NET. :yay:
yup. +rep, precise, and exactly what i was about to suggest.Paint.net has a more friendly interface and good to start off (just my opinion), although GIMP is probably the best free alternative to photoshop, adding that photoshop tends to lag on low end PC's while that problem is not really there for GIMP
