I still like the manga so im not going to trash it like others do at times. I'm dying to see what happens next but does anyone else miss when this manga was about....well....ninjas, sure they had powers and stuff but it was never out of hand. I mean now we're bringing in transcendent spirits and gods. 0_0, like when Kakashi fought Zabuza, Neji vs (that guy with the webs. LOL forgot name) It was a match of skill, matchups, wit/intelligence, creativity. It was an interesting way of fighting rather than simply overpowering one another. It seems like they're not even ninja's anymore...I believe they are ready to take on Piccolo now.

Not really, they were never really like ninjas at all, just people with powers that use ninja terminology.

Ninja were shadow assassins, they killed for money and used stealth.

As for the power levels, everyone should have seen it coming, its an inevitable part of Shounen, if you want to see power levels go out of control read Shaman King, they go from sword fights, to destroying suns and creating black holes.
