Ask him about his favourite aspects about the series. These include:

Kekkai Genkai (Blaze Release, Dust Release etc.)
Dojutsu (Rinnegan, Sharingan, Byakugan)
Techniques/Jutsu (Rasengan, Chidori, Mokuton etc.)
Favourite Characters (Which is the most prominent)
Villages (Konoha)
Clans (Uzumaki, Hyuuga, Uchiha, Sarutobi etc.)

Tons more. Other than that stuff he can be generic if he wants or creative in his own sense. Thought I'd throw these ideas out there.
