How cool would it be if he fought someone who used the 8th gate after leaving Konoha? Obviously this guy would be much weaker than Gai if he didn't kill Madara, but I think that'd be cool to see

What the point of filler if its not canon? Let say in filler Naruto destroy a planet but it have zero meaning to canon story as Naruto never did it in manga.

My point was if we're gonna be watching a whole bunch of fillers no matter what, I was interested in what kind of fillers people would actually want to watch

SP needs to take advantage of these ideas, instead of giving us useless ostrich filler eps.
