What's vanguard

It's a cardfighting anime like yugioh and duel masters. Well you could say it's somewhat of a mix between the two.

I've watched one or two episodes; from what I saw it wasn't too bad. Not as bad as Duel Masters was, at least. xD

I'm more of a YGO guy myself though, so it would take a while to adjust to Cardfight! Vanguard.
