any body else notice obito's sage staff???

alright we know the sage's staff has two ends the sun and the moon repping the two son's,
when maddy got sage mode an the staff was a the moon. makes since his blood line is oldest son
when the sage offered the staff to naruto an sasuke they each grabbed there side

the question i have is how is it that when obito got sage mode his end of the staff was SUN not MOON..
Even before he switched to the good side, wich really shouldn't have mattered because his blood line is uchiha that's the
MOON side of the staff. did i miss something?

In my opinion, the Sun/Moon manifestation is not about bloodline. I mean Naruto, who is an Uzumaki, is not actually a pure Senju, so maybe the parallel between Sun and Moon is related to something different. For example: intentions. Obito has clearly manifested his good intentions, despite of the wrong way he chose (as Nagato), while Madara has shown and directly said that he lost faith in humanity to achieve peace, that's why he wants to complete the Infinite Tsukuyomi, but he has shown at the same time desire for destruction, ambition, vanity, etc. So I conclude saying that maybe Sun/Moon parallel is about intentions, not necessarily blood.
And if you think about Sasuke, I've got an Hypothesis: I think Hagoromo Ootsutsuki was clear when he said "I didn't take care of Indra", maybe he's the redemption of the Moon to put an end to this cycle of hatred. Making Sasuke find his path finally.

The theories about Obito being good (=sun staff), and Madara bad (=moon staff) make no sense. Madara is also essentially someone who has good intentions and wants to achieve peace through the wrong way. And Sasuke got the moon staff, despite him clearly not being evil at this point.


Honestly, it's probably just to have some variety. Also, the sun part of the staff was the one always shown with the sage, so Obito having it had some "OMG, he got the sage's staff!!!!"-effect...
