Any Animes you thought you won't like, but ended up being one of your favorites

Penguindrum, I almost dropped it at first because I was lazy and I feel stupid for almost doing so, I would have missed out on one of the best anime I've ever watched.

Almost missed out on Sakurasou for the same reasons, I was almost as stupid as I was when I nearly passed up Pengruindrum.

Now I feel way more enlightened and I'm glad I watched Penguindrum, watching Sakurasou (Therefor I now know the true impact of tomatoes on this world.)

Like the OP mine was Gurren Lagann...........you dont know how many times i brushed that anime off this summer. I watched like 3 animes before i finally decided to watch it. It was basically on the bottom on my list, heck i even scrolled threw the first Ep or 2 to see the visuals in stuff. Didnt like it.

Took me a whole hour of procrastinating about which anime to watch to finally choose it. Even then i was like Ugh, if its really bad ill watch just 2 eps and go to the next anime. BOY WAS I WRONG!

Turned out to be the most influencial anime to me of all summer. Even more so than Hunter X Hunter and Attack on Titan which i wanted to watch off the bat.

Full metal alchemist brotherhood U_U Was my first real anime out of Naruto and i was like, nah anime sucks Naruto only is the good one ...
