So ever since I started High school it's been my dream to enroll at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. Lately I've been looking at some videos of the freshman or "Plebe" life at the Academy and I'm now apprehensive about enrolling because of how similar it seems to Boot Camp. I mean, they seemed to be getting yelled at constantly from what I can tell and this worries me because I'm young and I still wanna have that college campus experience where I can hang out with my friends after classes and have nothing to worry about other then grades. Anybody that can clarify how stressful plebe year is and give any advise as to preparing for it? Thanks in advance.

Ahhh this takes me back to when I enrolled there, I got kicked out for cocaine though. Charlie Bundels then told Mr.Burtrand to go screw himself, if Charlie Bundels wishes to rock his socks off with a dose of cocaine then that he shall :scorps:

If you have answered "No" to at-least 2 out of 3 of these questions; I have some bad news for you, Join the Naval Academy.

I'm actually going there for school next year. My Dad went there too.

To be honest though, if you want the stereotypical college life, the Naval Academy might not be for you. You will get time with your friends, but only on weekends, and it will be pretty dang stressful.

It'll all be worth it though down the line. Get your degree, do your job for five years, get out, and then you're a hot commodity around the job market. 27 years old and you'll be getting 6 figures. ;)

That's my plan anyway.

Edit: Also, something I forgot to add, you'll have to play a sport or activity of some kind. They like to keep you busy.
