Well the day has come, and I have to perform at the bi-annual SJHS band concert. I'm nervous as ****. All I can think about it shit going wrong: screwing up on my part, dropping my drum sticks, tripping over the other drummer when we swich inbetween songs, ect.
Its not my first rodeo, but do any of you have any helpfull advice?

Songs(if your interested):
-Valley Forge(Bass Drum)
-Jungle Dance(Vibrophone and temple blocks)
-Covington Square(Snare drum)
-Deck The Halls With Rock and Roll(Bass Drum){Its as cheesy as it sounds}

I have some advice. If you're a drummer, I'd recommend having an extra set of drumsticks. That way if one drops you'll have a back up. As for being nervous, don't worry! If you make mistakes most of the people don't notice. :) If you're nervous you'll just do worse. I'm also in a band so I understand those feelings well.

Imagine how much confidence you would have if you were a Super Saiyan, the proceed to kill the performance like it were Chiaotzu.

But really just try not to think about it, maybe to some breathing/meditating exercises, some sage mode shit.

Don't be nervous. If you do mess up, the audience won't know it. Also, just have the mindset of "It's all over after this." Works for me at least. I play trumpet but a tenor sax part.

try not to hyperventilate, did that once at my fifth grade band performance, nearly passed out, but I collapsed, seeing dark spots, and they wouldn't let me play. Classic, I had a solo, and they had to cut out thirty seconds of the performance because no one knew the part and they couldn't cover for me

simple, stay relaxed , and dont think about messing up, just play and have a good time and im sure it will go great

but if you do mess up for some reason, just play it cool.

again, just dont think about it to much. the more you think about messing up the greater chance you will.

Just have fun, and i wish you good luck.
