Yeah, just let them shit all over the things you like and feed that lazy garbage to kids who'll never realize what the show was actually about. Who cares.
Is it just me that thinks he didn't have this opinion regarding how Starwars was butchered? but because it's about something he personally don't care about it "doesn't matter" ?

First of all all Anime is cartoons and all cartoons are anime, all anime means is "Animated" the orginal "anime's" wore inspired by the Disney Cartoons... and if you ask japaneese people they view "cartoons" as anime, because that is what it is, overhere they don't even have this "anime vs cartoon" debate, because to them there isn't one, sure tehre are different animation styles, but its all animated...

in a "vacuum" I would agree with you (the whole "let other generations have their own stuff") but its not like "this" generation will have this version of the cartoon, they won't care about it, there are already vastly better cartoons around so why should they watch something really bad when they can just continue to watch whatever they are watching right now?

the only kids that are gonna watch this is those to young to even grasp anything but motions and colors... those smart enough to actually watch it won't want to, and that's the point.
I know what anime is, I'm just relaying the colloquial criticisms from general fans over the 2011 reboot that it was "too anime."

If you believe that this new Thundercats reboot isn't going to have an audience and is going to be irrelevant, then I really don't see why it's such a big deal. Isn't this what being an "sjw" is? You're telling people what's "smart" to watch even though this show isn't even out yet and has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the original cartoon. Everyone has their own tastes.

The old cartoons still exist, and the original had a completed story.

Sure I have my criticisms of the new Star Wars, but they're direct sequels. But even with that, I really don't care. Those movies were made for the new generation, not for old. This is their original trilogy and we still have ours, which was a completed story arc.

Wait, you are saying that we should leave a cartoon that the new generation would never watch, so they can watch it? yeah that makes sense. This is the best way to open a door. You know, reboot this so they can be like, "i wonder how the old version was like?"

And bro. Americans do not like anime style. Every year it gets better, but anime does have its own baggage that people on this side do not like.

We don't even have a studio that produces "anime" in the U.S. It's all imported from Japan.

That's why every art professor tells their students to not draw anime if they want to have a future in that industry, because there are no jobs in the U.S. that will cater to that style.

What are you talking about here? I've read it but i cant catch up.

I honestly didnt like the last StarWars movie , and they can never replace the old series and actors such as 'Obi wan Kenobi - Yoda - Quo Gon Jinn - Anakin - Darth Vader - Mace Windu and others even with the story

No, that's not what i'm saying Cathy Newman. I'm saying yes, by all means shit on a franchise that was made with passion, completely ruin its message with Teen Titans Go stupid jokes and a horrenduous generic artstyle that a 10 year old can make, then shove that shit down the throats of every kid for a profit and justify it with Oh well it's not for you it's for a new generation so stop hating.

That's closer to what i'm saying.

This is the best way to open a door. You know, reboot this so they can be like, "i wonder how the old version was like?"
Ever heard the phrase if it ain't broken don't fix it? The point of a reboot is to improve upon it not the opposite.

And bro. Americans do not like anime style. Every year it gets better, but anime does have its own baggage that people on this side do not like.
Can't tell if that's a joke or you're actually being legit. Netflix has an entire section dedicated to anime, people love that stuff in the U.S. And also because people like trash it doesn't mean you have to pickup something like say, Starwars, or now Thundercats and turn it into trash to appeal to them.
