actually they still see with their eyes close, they see the chakra points moving about.

The problem is that Uchiha Dojutsu requires Direct Eye contact. Being capable of viewing with either a protective layer of eyelids, or just using the 360 peripheral vision granted by the Byakugan it is entirely capable of avoiding Direct eye contact.


OT: Gotta love that.... but of course Kishi couldn't let that stand so he kept all of the Hyuga mostly out of Part II, and gave the Uchiha Susanoo, Izanagi, Izanami, and Amaterasu.....


Jyuuken is still hands down my favorite style (with only Kakuzu, Han, and Haku rivaling it).
