Well, Supernatural did lose something when they went into season 6. And the change was the most prominent in episode 8 all dogs go to heaven, i can't say i approve but i don't hate it, and yeah some of the dialog really sounds contrived at points...And don't get me started on the vampire episode Jensen ackles directed, they really tried to do a funny satire of Twilight and it came of as an attempt to stay relevant. But the good thing is that the characters we know and love haven't changed to much...Except the whole Sam without a soul deal, but when we get past in it's still an alright season considering. The series was written to be 5 seasons long, but the people at the CW wanted a another show after Smallville ended so Supernatural was artificially extended, and naturally that's going to come with some problems. Let alone the fact that Eric kripke isn't writing it anymore. All in all, i like the show and i can turn a blind eye to some of the hoggy dialog for the good bits.
