Another school massacre

ofc it's sad, but every day people are dying and no one cares about them

like in war or because of hunger, illness...

So because other people are dying for other reasons, that makes school shootings or any other type of death less significant?

Granted it is tragic but looking at everything thats wrong with the world and trying to fix it all at once just won't work, adress and fix one problem at a time

it's equal in beeing sad and bad

but we're more concerned about a school massacre than about people who died in war
and I think that's wrong

I'm not saying that it's not bad, because it really is, and I've sympathy with their families but also with the families from people who died in war

It's obvious people don't notice much nowadays, lost in their own thoughts. He should have been discovered earlier than that in my opinion.

On a slightly un related note though, i knew someone from school who was an absolute douche, he joined the army and no doubt did it just to shoot a gun and blow shît up, legit. And I've also heard him pull the 'i fought for this country card' he is just trash. I would find it hard for me to feel sympathy for him and i also doubt that he is not the only person in the army like that.

It is sad when people die from war especially innocence done in by collateral damage but i think it more of a political thing, a government that understands all this but wishes to proceed anyway because it benefits them. I'm not well endowed with the understanding of politics though, just my amateur opinion.


I just think that children getting shot and murdered should be top priority and i dont feel like there has been enough effort in preventing this.

We do that too. We try to make sure they are competent enough to get a gun they are not just given to anyone. It's just that some people unfortunately find a way to get a gun.

nah I meant the families of the innocent people, not the people from the army..
it's their own decison to go there..

Guns are tools made to severely/fatally injure a target whether it be an animal an attacker an enemy or an innocent victim. Thats a fact and shouldnt be ignored by saying "Oh but its made for self defense" its just an ignorant statement nowadays.

There are things that should not be made available to the majority of a country full of Humans. Who are capable of finding MANY ways to use a tool that differs from its intended use. Guns should be handled by officers and military only.

Tazers are already available and much more effective and can result in alot of deaths being prevented if Guns were not made available to the public.

Osaka school massacre:37-year-old former janitor Mamoru Takuma entered the school armed with a kitchen knife and began stabbing numerous school children and teachers. He killed eight children, mostly between the ages of seven and eight, and seriously wounded thirteen other children and two teachers.

I just find it pathetic that people get the urge to bash on "Americans" cause we don't have guns banned yet county's that do have such bans and what happens? The insane people find other ways to kill.

Like I said,let's just ban everything that can be used as a tool to kill people and let the government have them to use on us.

Don't get me wrong though, I think tazers should be used as self defense ,just like guns.

It'll be an ignorant statement to think Tazers are non-lethal nowadays . People are protesting to stop using Tazers cause it could kill people. Plus if you don't want guns to be available to the public,then why allow tazers?
Why turn the blind eye on the fact that a person that kills,would use that weapon to easily put down an innocent person... So just like guns,tazers should only be used by officers . But then who's to say that an officers starts going on a killing spree? Such as ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner. There could be people like that as a cop,yet people want to give up their arms and trust them ?

Everyone should be given a fair chance when it comes to self defense. If a cop can use guns to defend himself,then why can't a good citizen.
