This is why Sasuke wanted to fight Naruto

1) All Sasuke wanted was a purpose and to impress his older brother as a kid

2) Itachi kills clan so Sasuke trains and kills Itachi

3) Sasuke wants to avenge his brother and his clan and that is exactly why he killed Danzo

4) Sasuke is and always will be a Konoha shinobi he will always care about them. {Obito and Orochimaru}

5) Sasuke even cared about the village so much he offers to become hokage

6) Sasuke also witnessed Madara's and Obito's power and how unstable they have become

7) Sasuke now knows he will never be a hokage and will most likely leave the village seeing how Uchiha's causes nothing but destruction

8) Sasuke wanted to battle Naruto one more time just to make sure he is ready to become hokage

Btw I feel like Naruto was also an outlet for Sasuke to let out all of his hatred out on you know he is an Uchiha after all Sasuke is also the incarnate of Indra so him not fighting Naruto was killing him
