No, you cannot delete your account nor do accounts get deleted, although they can be in certain specific cases. Deleting accounts is a mess because of all that is stringed to them (posts, vms, pms, stats, etc) so its not something is done unless the member in question is Satan encarnate or Belzebub himself coming to bring the apocalipse.
