Another plothole

Obito can use the rinnegan meaning he can revive people. Why didn't he just revive rin? Madara was supposed to be revived by the rinnegan and not edo tensei so I don't understand.

He didn't acquire the Rinnegan until Nagato's death and by then, it would have been too late. You have to revive the person quickly. So it's not a plothole.

Why would he even revive Rin at that point ? not after all the madness that was caused by him ..

+ remember that he only got the rinnegan just before the war , and he doesn't only want Rin , but he wants to accomplish his mission , Uchiha Madara's plan .
