Izanami is interesting, i guess i'd rate it 3rd strongest in genjutsus behind KotoAmatsukami and Tsukuyomi, despite its limitations.

By the way, Itachi used Genjutsu on Kakashi, who's in possession of the 'normal' Mangekyou Sharingan, too. That kind of proves that this statement is absoulutely wrong.

I think they meant that you can't cast a genjutsu on someone who's already in a genjutsu. Being that the user of the Izanagi casts a genjutsu on himself, he can't be put under another genjutsu by someone else. That's just my take on it anyhow.

I take it you mean when Itachi and Kisame fought Kakashi,Asuma,Gai?
We are unsure it Kakashi had his MS at this time because this fight took place in part 1 and Kakashi only showed his MS in part 2 after the 2 year break.

Wrong. I mean the fight between Kakashi and Itachi's copy at the beginning of part two.

wrong, it was demonstrated that you can put someone under a genjutsu under another genjutsu...

you are all forgetting itachi is under koto amatsukami, then kabuto used sound genjutsu, then sasuke used his genjutsu to cancel the sound genjutsu..

basically in that moment, itachi was under a genjutsu under another genjutsu under another genjutsu. 3 layers of genjutsu dude.

this just shows how inconsistent kishi is. ridiculous imo.
