How? Mace Windu died 19 years before the destruction of the first death star.

Finn is probbaly just a random kid, with no noteworthy parents. And honestly I think that would be better.

Ok so I forgot the timeline. Relative, grandson or great grandson maybe.

Finn is not force sensitive
The new trilogy isn't over yet. He used Luke's saber with the button the first time in the movie but not the second time, oversight in filming or subtle hidden clue?

So he is not clone? :/
No this new army wasn't a clone army they were people taken as children raised to be stormtroopers.

Luke's been gone since Ren killed his students so any kid of Luke's would be Ren's age or older Rey is the right age to be Ren's kid though
In the visual dictionary for TFA it says Rey is 19 years old. Kylo is no more than 30. So no, she isn't his daughter.

She was born 11 years after the battle of Endor.

Does it say he's no more than thirty anywhere or is that your opinion? I would understand if it's your opinion based on the actors looks, he does look young, but more than likely he's in his mid 30's. I didn't hear she was 19 that'd mean he'd have to be at least 36. Han is old, probably around his actors real age which is 73 let's downplay it for safety and say he's right around 60. He would likely have had his kids after the 3rd(6th) movie when he was in his late 20's to early 30's.

If Luke had a kid it wouldn't have been after Ren murdered his students and he went into hiding, that makes no sense. Nor does it if his wife(that I've heard no mention about, granted I don't read the books which are now for the most part pointless) was pregnant just before his disappearance because that would still leave the child close in age to Ren which Rey is not.

Just Caz he's black he's the son of Nick Fury?
Well it's him or the other black guy in Star Wars but I think there was a hint that Finn will/does have a connection to the force just not to his knowledge(like in OP when characters used Conq. Haki without knowing or realizing it.)

It's all from the novel. Han and Leia have extended dialogue. The clues are clear.

"He put his hands on her shoulders, and thirty years fell away in an instant. “Leia, there’s something I’ve been wanting to say to you for a long time.” "He nodded without speaking. If nothing else, in thirty years he had learned when to be quiet."

Not to mention a writer who used to work for Lucasfilm posted this on his twitter.

That line's implying it's been 30 years since he last touched Leia which would have been the day Ren left for the Dark Side though.

Nah man he's either 29 or 30. You can wait a couple months for the Visual Dictionary for TFA to come out online or you can buy it from Amazon, where it states Rey is 19. Pretty sure Kylo's age will be officially revelead pretty soon too. All the implications are there, so yeah. Making him Rey's father would be dumb move. No way they are doing that, it simply doesn't make sense.

He may be but it doesn't really add up, if he's 30 then Han had him when he was in his late thirties? Luke's only a few years younger than Han right, maybe 7-8 years? Then Rey who is 11 years younger than Ren would have been born to Luke when he was almost forty? That doesn't make sense.

Theory: Both Rey & Finn are completely unrelated to anybody in the franchise. With Finn this is made apparent but the twist with Rey's character is that it'll turn out she's in fact not related by blood to Luke in any way at all despite VII's huge foreshadowing that basically screamed that they're related. The twist is effective because it'll give Rey a minor identity crisis but also show how far she came by her own power and how amazing she is by her own merit....without special DNA inherited.

(Much like the relationship between the new trilogy & the originals with any luck)

In A New Hope Luke is 19 years old, in Empire he is 22 and in RotJ he is 23. Rey was born 11 years after the battle of endor making Luke 34 years old. Han is at least 10 years older than him.
