Last time we discussed similarities between Nico Robins introduction and Nami's introduction. In similar fashion we are gonna discuss the similarities between the way Sanji was introduced and Brook was introduced.

First up is sanji

Look at the first two scans with brook and sanji in them. There are several things that are eerily similar.

I'll wait for you to find the four major points. While you Search look at this awesome cat gif. It takes a minute to load.

Did you get them?

Well them me point them out

• The way they dress (Both in suits.)
• They are holding China that is steaming hot
• They both speak of jobs that aren't theirs. (Brook talking of deliver, Sanji talking about being a server instead of a cook)
• The ships they come from shock the crew when they first see it.

There are more similarities but the major four are listed above.
They both are major perverts and they both are chivalrous. They both initially come off as frightening Sanji beating fullbody to a pulp and brooks appearance. They Both are introduced in a panel that shows them far off. They both are offered a fight with zoro in the same chapter they are introduced. They both tilt their head and have steam coming out of their mouths when they speak (Sanji cigarette and brooks tea) Both of their fighting styles evolve to gain elemental properties pertaining to where they come from. Sanji's first fight was against Pearl who swung fire around and now he lites himself on fire, Brook died and now has a cold sword from the afterlife.

So if we Can use this a a prector of the next Nakama Who is a pervert towards women we have this

1. Dresses formal
2. Comes from an Island/ship that Shocks the crew
3. Carrying china
4. Talks about a job that isnt theirs
5. Has an elemetal base attack
6. Is intitally seen as scary
7. Was offered a fight with zoro in the first fight they were shown in.
8. Strict code of chivalry
9. Shown far off at first and then has a close up
10. Come from a rather rambunctious place (Brooks Crew and Zeffs restaurant)
11. Defends their treasure in the first arc they are in (brooks afro, Zeffs ship)

Just use it as a checklist for the next person who you think is joining.

Ironically enough momo fits this pattern too. And both if their dfs fit the number pattern since the sound effect fire smoking can be represented by a two and a nine when romanized.

I'm not talking about on your part, I'm talking about on Oda's. If these patterns are really his criteria for new members to an extent, how often is he gonna use it? Because he's basically got one more use before it becomes repetitive.

1) you could have said grasping at straw hats and you failed
2) he bloodied fullbody in a matter of seconds which is a HUGE intimidation factor.

I'm not talking about on your part, I'm talking about on Oda's. If these patterns are really his criteria for new members to an extent, how often is he gonna use it? Because he's basically got one more use before it becomes repetitive.

Think about it in terms of his perspective. A good writer gives us clues and hints about something from the start. Like when Luffy brow the wall at Easter seven to confront lucci his leg was black and his determination spiked kinda like manifedting his will into armor that made his blow stronger. Like haki which wasn't introduced until almost five years later.
Everyone can say anything is bs asspulls and bad writing but if it's foreshadowed then the fault cannot be on the writer. It's on the Reader for not picking up on it.
I showed three scans cause after that everything falls apart and the characters become themselves being unique and independent.

It's a manga. Right off the bat this would amount to nothing. What theory about a glorified comic book really mattered ever? I think maybe that we should start a place to discuss a hobby of shared interests like maybe a manga but instead of just posting and conversing we take ourselves so f!@$ing seriously that we forget that our user name isn't our real name or reputation. And then we go out of our way to belittle someone else for being trivial when we are doing songwriting equally as trite.
