My favorite out of those two is Anko but I'll have to go with Kurenai because I've seen more of her in battle like against Itachi and the fish man.

But I don't like her because she trained Hinata =_= ehhhh...

We don't know nearly enough about either of them to make any kind of decision. I don't get why people make these vs threads of people we can't make informed decisions on.

At first glance I would say Anko. She was a student of Orochimaru. He wouldn't have taken an interest in her as a student if she wasn't skilled to begin with. He also gave her the Cursed Seal and he wouldn't have done that either if he didn't already see something in Anko

As far as Kurenai is concerned, she is a genjutsu specialist and that might help her but we know almost nothing about her background.

I don't want to say you're wrong because like I said we don't know much about either of them, but if seeing her in action with Asuma against Itachi and Kisame is making you chose her, note that she got completely overwhelmed in that fight. Sad to say she didn't really do anything

Not enough to tell, mainly favortism and hype speculation for each of them so, I'm going to go with a estimated speculation of Kurenai. She's a jounin and is probably the strongest genjutsu user in Konoha.

That wasn't part of the manga and Kurenai had skill enough to seal away those powers. That girl couldn't control her powers, Kurenai is actually skillful in her techniques. Theres a difference in having stronger power and being more skilled.
