So like..WTF happened to anko and Yamato? are they no longer part of the manga? i mean like how is anybody gonna find them now? what do u guys think is gonna happen with them? I think they're done

They aren't needed anymore in the story, so Kishi just threw them away.

Well, first of all;

1. Anko's place is known only by Sasuke, Jûgo, Suigetsu and Orochimaru.

2. Yamato needs special treatment to get out of that wood. Or yes, just smash it in pieces and break a fortune (Hashirama).

3. They have the second Jûbi Jinchûriki and Madara against them, add that they have 5 minutes of time to fix the thing and to returning for only two people takes maybe 20. I think the firs one is already enough challenging.

4. They are in a war and are shinobi. As Obito said; People die in wars, hatred grows. You have no longer time to think about the others; only yourself.

Made this theory before the Hokage showed up that Kabuto was going to come out of his Izanami induced coma, heal Anko and go rescue Yamato. The 3 students of the snake would team up against him, knowing his evil plans and fighting in that final Orochimaru arc.

I still think it's a pretty rad theory but looks pretty unlikely now. They're gone.
