[Discussion] Animes that you have dropped

Animes that you have dropped because they were too BORING and then after some time you picked them up again and decided to finish them up, which would become one of your favorites animes of all time?

In my case was higurashi...

at first i thought it was going to be total crap, the setting was boring (slice of life) and the animation was... meh! I dropped it and after few months later i decided to, well i forced myself to watch it, and when i was done watching the the fourth episode, i was totally like ''wtf is going on''... so i keep watching and watching and god damn, it was a good experience. The mystery, the characters, everything was awesome after episode 4.

I watched all seasons, ovas, specials in less than 3 days... I haven't found an anime like that since then.

That never happened to me lol. I think the only anime I've dropped was Attack on titan and Tokyo Ghoul.

SAO, I watched the first 2 episodes and didn't like it. Watched it awhile later and now it is one of my favorites.

That happened to me with one piece. Before I got hooked on it I saw like the first few episodes and wasn't sure I liked it. I didn't like the animation and thought it was boring. I am glad i gave it another try because the arlong arc really hooked me in

I held off on Higurashi Kai and Ghost in the Shell 2nd GiG for the longest time, then when I went to go watch them finally, Kai ended up being so much better than the first season and so did 2nd GiG when it finally got around to the main storyline.

Gurren Lagann, I also put on hiatus for a long time. I went maybe one episode after THAT death before dropping it, but when I finally decided to go back and finish it, it wound being so much better than before THAT death occurred. lol

Only other anime I've ever dropped was Berserk cause it was so outdated, but I wound up watching the films instead and haven't gone back to rewatch it.

i watched FMA,Gintama,and one piece a little and stopped cause the first episodes of gintama and FMA were too boring.one piece animaion was naaah.after some time i sterted watching them for same reason i stopped boredom,now their among my favs.

I watched an episode like 2 years ago , then stopped. Another year later I tried again but dropped it once more after the first ep (which I rewatched)
I seen the entire series like a month or two back. It was good, I give it an 8.
