Then I highly recommend Darker than Black, it's probably my favorite.

Sword Art online is also quite interesting.

Fukking funny anime spinoff of Naruto (has manga version as well, called rock lee springtime of youth, although the manga chapters and anime episodes of rock lee and his ninja pals, are not always the same).

anyone seen tetsuwan birdy decode? the second part has more fighting and gore. the first part is detectivish.
it's a little gory in this scene so don't watch if you can't take it. and if you haven't seen it your probably like wtf is going on...
