I love Neon Genesis Evangelion. I would highly recommend the series and movies. Complex but very worthwhile.

Great anime, confusing as hell ending. I recommend everyone watch the movie afterwards to understand the ending better, and then add on some more to that confusion.

Evangelion is confusing. but worth it. I do agree about the movies. They did a kind of reboot with 3 movies thus far and 4th to come out. The 3rd recently came out.

If Kishi didn't lack motivation and kept true to the term 'ninja', Naruto would be having the best storyline. Too bad it became rubbish

I'd say that FMA:Brotherhood is arguably the best shounen ever; though I prefer Steins;Gate in story personally.
Reasons being: Time-travel concept has been so often awfully shown in shows/movies with lots of flaws; that seeing an anime on it without any plotholes, deserve applaud. Steins;Gate hits all the right spots besides in my opinion in all sections. Save for a slow-paced start, it's arguably flawless in its story. So, I'll closely edge it above!

I'm tempted to mention instant classics like Death Note & Code Geass and timeless classics like Cowboy Bepop that are close-contenders.

One Piece and Naruto are very good in delivering a story on a lengthy time period in a vast shounen world. In that way, it's very good; especially One Piece for better creativity. Kudos to recent animes like Psycho-Pass & Shingeki no Kyojin who also got great story.

Code Geass . Why? It's filled with so much action, bombastic dialogue, and has such eye-catching visuals that it tops the charts in entertainment value. This is an exciting and epic anime and it's over the top.

Baccano! I can not say enough about how good this anime was. From the intro to the philosphical discussion of how to present a story and who should be the protagonist when you have such an array of cast members. The voice over for the dubbed version was one of the best I've heard yet with the voice actors understanding the character's emotions and motives well. The characters themselves were very original and interesting.

All in all I'd give this anime a A+, a 9(or higher) out of 10, a must watch.
