Obviously Afro Samurai, Samurai Champloo and Gurren Lagann are contenders but jfc i've been listening to some from past series lately and Soul Eater, Durarara & FMA: Brotherhood? This stuff is beautiful.

Makes you realise how Shippuden has like 3 nice tracks that they rinse and repeat.

They just got old upon repeat sadly. Evangelion's score is okay, but IMO a weaker feature of the series. I like the corny theme of an angel attack though.

some of my OST favs include Fate series, Guilty Crown, AoT, Bleach. Really anything composed by Hiroyuki Sawano and Yuki Kajiura.

naruto, soul eater, and baccano ost are also good.

FMA brotherhood has the most forgettable soundtrack. Listen to the original FMA soundtrack if you want a great soundtrack.

Anyways Bleach is fitting for best soundtrack in anime because of 2 things quality, and quantity.

-There are many shows with solid tracks start to finish but lack quantity (AOT, DN)

-others have quantity and some really outstanding tracks but a lot of the tracks you skip over. (Naruto)

Bleach has amazing tracks from start to finish, and there are tons of them.

there are a couple themes here and there but the OST as a whole I honestly forgot about not too long after I had watched it. If you ran me through all the OST's from brotherhood right now, I wouldn't even be able to tell you which show they are from aside from maybe like 2.

The original FMA definitely was a masterpiece soundtrack wise, those OST's leave an impact.

Maybe its just the directors fault, for not placing them in the right situations or enough for that matter, to be remembered. As the OST's by themselves aren't bad at all.

Haha what? End of Evangelion is by far the hallmark of anime. That's pretty commonly accepted as one of it's crowning achievements. I'm not surprised i'm getting a different reaction on a Naruto forum though.

Aside from the series people listed, I want to mention Kekkai Sensen. This series took the best OST's for 2015 IMO. I love the ending & it's so catchy. Easily my all time fav. ending:
