in no particular order
1. akame ga kill: its set in a middle age ish theme with a little bit of modern. its about a boy who wanted to become a famous adventurer and take quests but winds up joining a guild of assassins who kill the corrupt... and cool monsters.
2.tokyo ghoul: as the title suggest this series is set in Tokyo however its invested with a new species of human that can only eat people. these "ghouls" look and act just like humans and some even like to date their prey before eating them. the main character after a close encounter with one of these events becomes a half ghoul follow him as he get caught up in a ghoul gang war and his own ghoulification.
3. sword art online II: its sword art 2 sword art harder lol the fights and animation is just as good as it was in sword art 1 except now its in a slightly more modern/futuristic setting even if you didn't like how the first one ended this is still a must see.
4. sailor moon crystal 2014: just like her husband who is the creator of hunter x hunter. sailor moon has also gotten a revamp and boy does it look good its about girls with super powers who fight evil and is hyped almost as much as dbz I haven't watched yet myself but I definitely will give it a try.
