Anime suggestions please????

Finished catching up with one piece and I want to say thanks to everyone here. A while back I made a thread on how i was giving up on it and you guys told me to stick with it... And i ended up loving it! Law and Zoro are beasts!

But now i need a new anime. I would Prefer something dark, i loved one piece but it was too bright and not enough sorrow and gore. Any Suggestions? The more violent the better! ( Possibly a good storyline too )

I watched Noragami. It kinda good.
And I've always avoided gintama because of how the guy fights on J stars lol but I'll check it out

[Ambivalence]

- Akame ga Kill: as dark as it gets, and the story is pretty good if you ignore the anime-original ending.

- Try Black Bullet if you want to see lolis dying.

- Death Parade is a very good anime focusing on death and what happens after, highly recommended.

- You can try the Grisaia series. It's one of those anime that completely surprises you with how it crosses some lines.

- Owari no Seraph isn't half bad despite the negative reviews, though it has a slow start (second season is much better for now).

- Parasyte: The Maxim is also another brilliant anime.

- Tokyo Ghoul is a must if you're looking for something dark, though the anime is nowhere near the quality of the manga.

- Zankyo no Terror is a hidden gem, highly recommended as well.

Alternatively, you could go for the classics if you haven't seen them: Attack on Titan, Death Note, Code Geass.
