Anime similar.

Okay, so I'm pretty novice when it comes to anime, and I'm looking 1 or two new series to watch, long series's preferred.

So far iv seen;
naruto, shippuden included
Hunter x hunter
Bleach
SAO

Can't get into one piece, and fairytail. Also, there's others but can't think on the spot.

Also currently watching SAO2, and irregular at magic high.

I like story's with character development, superpowers etc, as you can see from the ones iv seen.

I'll try and suggest some anime from genre I think you will like. I'll try to give an episode count next to them as well. Though one piece and fairy tail seem to be along the lines of what you are looking for, but if you can't get into them that's fine.

You should try full metal alchemist brotherhood. It is completed and is around 60 episodes or so.

Inuyasha is also completed and is fairly long, a couple hundred episodes or so.

If you havn't watched dragonball and dragonball z, you should watch those. Both series should be around 450 episodes.

yu yu hakusho. around 100 episodes.

Those are completed and imo animes that are a must watch. All the ones I listed are completed. I could suggest more, but I tried to stick to longer series.

Edit: Also it sounds like your also interested in shounen genre of anime as well as action. Here is a list of popular shounen manga, many of them also have anime.

OT: I dont watch much action packed animes so id just say to watch GGO seeing as you watched SAO

Thanks guys, lists helping well. Just finished ao no exorcist, cool ass storyline! But could of done a lot more with the idea in my opinion. But ah well it was good! Now gonna try neon genesis evangelion
