I agree. This anime is one of the best shows I've ever seen. However, I think that the current Monogatari S2 surpassed Bakemonogatari. The Monogatari series has the best Seiyuu cast in all of the anime I've watched which is one of the reasons it became so amazing.

Not really. I think kiss-shot and Nadeko are serious too.

Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, and Bakemonogatari Season 2 it also has a movie

They started with Bakemonogatari but there are other anime in the Monogatari series and some take place before Bake and others after but I still reccomend following the airing date if anyone plans to watch the series. The movie (called Kizumonogatari, which is not relased yet) is about the events before Bakemonogatari.


This is the watching order I recommend:
1) Bakemonogatari [15 ep.]
2) Nisemonogatari [11 ep.]
3) Nekomonogatari: Kuro [4 ep.]
4) Monogatari Series: Second Season [26 ep. and currently airing]

Thanks for the additional info, I was originally referring to the first season, but I forgot about Nadeko, but shinobi doesn't get any dialogue till Nisemonogatari
