[Question] Anime Opening - Monster Trio

Hi Guys

In the current opening of the One Piece Anime, there is a hint that Luffy, Zoro and Sanji will fight the current Admirals later on in the series.

Does this mean that they will eventually be on equal footing with the Admirals, or do you think that they can hold their own or even beat the Admirals as they are now?

The matchups shown are :

Luffy VS Akainu
Zoro VS Fujitora
Sanji VS Kizaru

I dont think Sanji would be able to beat Kizaru right now.. maybe in the future though.

I think Luffy and Zoro would win against Akainu and Fujitora though. Now or in the future. F*ck the WG!!!

I think Luffy and Zoro could fight on par with them now, but they would get tired before the admirals, especially Luffy using his gears for a long period would wear him out, but since Ace fought Jinbe for days, and Kuzan/Akainu fought for 10 days? or something.. Maybe there will be one of these times for the SH's.

i don't think they will win if they fight against the 3 admirals one on one but in the future they will definitely be on equal footing with admirals.
but at present i don't think they will win even if the entire crew fights against an admiral.

Zoro vs Admiral Isshou

Sanji vs Admiral Borsalino

If they fought now they'd lose without much difficulty. It wouldn't overly tax the Admiral... It would be a simple matter of time before the M3 members fell.

We already saw Zoro vs Fujitora. It ended with Zoro getting tossed down a hole blood coming out the mouth and cracked shades. His counter attack is blocked by Isshou without any great effort.

I know but they always usually get beat first, then win the second time around. I just can't see them being that far under admirals after only training for 2 years..

I don't think Sanji will ever surpass Borsalino personally so no.
I can see him as being always just under Admiral level EOS.

Lol. Currently they would get stomped by them but eventually M3 will surpass the admirals. They still have a long way to go though.
