talk about bleach, it might be 20 chapters per anime episode.!!

tbh, i can understand it going fast, cause alot of it is action and unless you are willing to come up with filler sequences, then its goes off in about 5 minutes...

This, part of why there is no Bleach right now. When they stuck to cannon it was way too close to the manga and the fillers had no tie in to the story. At least Naruto has stuff that a anime only viewer might consider cannon material, ie Kakashi fillers.

Also, Kubo does a lot of face shots in his manga. One chapter might be a bunch of face shots and a sword swing. That's like three minutes in Bleach, so the pacing is a lot faster.

this week ep could have covered one chap..they wasted so much time mourning nejis death..heck shikamaru and team spent so much energy to bind Juubi with difficulty and this guys rock lee, kakashi, gai, naruto are wasting time chit-chatting..

It's funny...they pump the anime with so much filler, and then they speed up the base story. I felt like they really rushed the moment with Ino, Shikamaru, and their fathers.

There are 62 chapters before the anime is completely caught up.
If each episode from now gong forward contains between two and three each then they have around 25 - 30 episodes until they are caught up.
Though i do expect them to throw in some recap like episodes to raise the count up.
Either way i suspect this season of naruto to be over very soon.
Probably as soon as sasukes and the kages decide to leave the compound.
This will most likely be the end of the season and the anime for the year.
