Anime height and weight..

I'm 6'2" myself... Hashirama and Tobirama look easily taller than me.

Dude, why do you think we are counting the hair? lol... we are kind of grown enough to know hair isn't part of the height you know =p.


Their body structure is not that of a normal 6 feet person..

The thing is all the character's heights are messed up.. not just the Hokages... Even those around Hashirama..

Well have you seen Asian people? They have "big" heads literally, I mean no offense to anyone but that's just how it is. So maybe that;s why you get the feeling I guess.

I've noticed that Kishi isn't really consistent with drawing relative character heights. In this regard, anime concept art (that can be found on the studio's blog) is more reliable because they are actual reference sheets.

For example: Fu and Torune aren't given heights in the manga canon yet, and if you look at manga panels where they stand next to Danzo (whose height is known) they sometimes look much taller than him, and sometimes only a bit taller (perspective changes that of course but the fact is, those panels can't be trusted, you can't really guess their heights from that). The anime team however has these:

. Note the relative heights. You may try finding these for the Hokage too.

In short, my point is: Kishi doesn't care as much for making characters look their heights but rather goes for better composition in his panels etc.

You would think the Senju clan being known for lots of stamina,strength, and durablity. Would tower over everyone else being 6ft or higher... Hashirama would have been more bad ass if he was 6'2 or taller

I agree, although doesn't danzo sometimes slouch over due to his posture regarding the cain he uses?

That is my point, you can't tell relative heights from the way Kishi draws. Anime is somewhat more reliable due to reference usage.

I actually guessed Fu's height as 180 cm after watching the anime :| There, he is pretty consistently drawn to be about 10 cm taller than Danzo (who is canonically 170 cm tall).

I think the whole thing is a plot by Kishi to make people think that its okay to not have gains. Look at Jugo. 6'6'' and 165. Someone clearly stole his gains. But seriously he ain't some little twig dude he is one of the more stocky characters in the series. How the hell could he weigh that little?
