Ok, since all the posts right now seem to be asking me to go into more detail i will.
If something happens in the anime, but not in the manga, it should atleast be considered important, rather than if it was, say, Konohamaru owning Hashirama, and so everyone would say"NON CANON DOESNT COUNT" when it clearly was shown that konohamaru is better than hashirama.

In other words, if the anime prooves something wrong, everyone sais that because it isn't canon, it doesn't mean anything when it is shown that konohamaru is stronger than hashirama.

Yes, i know he isn't.

I believe he means that if there is no manga fact, to go by what has been shown in the anime. I think I agree if so, I consider Dragon Ball GT "canon" somewhat, even though it was not written by Akira Toriyama.

Though what has been said is true, it is non canon if not written by the author him/her self.
Just consideration.

......epic fail.

How is it an epic fail? It exists, it has the same voice actors as DBZ so I consider it just another part of the story, I am going by anime not manga. Like I have mentioned, going by the anime you can take into consideration that it is just that plain and simple.

By the way, GT would have never happened without Akira's approval. They would have been prone to lawsuits, though it is not written in the manga it was still presented to him. He also helped with some of the artwork.

What I interpreted is that Anime Fact is of bigger value than NO Manga Fact.
So basically you're saying Anime is utter cr4p compared to Manga? (*) <-- ignore this sentence

-> Because how can you compare a fact based upon an interpretation of which is build on.. o_O

Again, no offence.

(*) - Edit: I should pose a question: So are you saying Anime is more interesting than Manga?

The consistent hating and bashing of the anime saying it isn't "canon" is pathetic. The anime is as true and real as the manga. It's no random fanfiction made by some kids in their basement. It's made at least in full approval (and most likely cooperation) of Kishimoto. The only way the claim that anime exclusive stories, characters etc. don't count would be legit is if Kishimoto himself said so.

Really, sometimes you wouldn't even know by the content if an anime episode is a "filler" or not. For instance, in both the manga and anime was the battle between Hanzo and Mifune. A complete sidestory that didn't affect the main plot in any way. In the anime only there was the battle between the seven swordsmen and Kakashi, the battle between Jugao and Hayate and others. These battles weren't bad, actually some fights were at least as good as "not-filler" fights. Still, some ignorant people will not watch them just for the reason they are not in the manga.

- I'm wondering; Why is there no *Itachi* brainstorming on this subject? -

Anyway, "fact" doesn't mean it's THE "fact" that represents the truth you're stating because it could turn out to be leading to ambiguitiy and therefore it's labeled as a LIE or rather SUBJECTIVE matter.

What I'm trying to say is that WITH your statement, you're saying that your statement is the truth (which in turn is just relative) but the absence of solid proof to back it up means you're just hating on the fact (again, fact means my interpretation ) that you don't like something, AND therefore you'd like to see who else shares your view on this subject.

And again, how can a fact from a dimension, knowing that this dimension is getting its resources from the other dimension to build itself, be compared with a subject (considered a fact or non-fact) from the 2nd dimension.
It's like saying: 1 + 1 = 2 in decimal, when knowing the same rules don't apply in e.g. binary, resulting in illogical outcomes..

maybe he is trying to say something displayed in the anime should be taken as canon even if it hasn't been suggested in the manga, such as tobirama's thuder sword or kakashi's katon or kiba breaking through rashoumon gates.

I mean if something is prooved in the anime, and the manga makes no attempt to disprove it, then it's better than nothing.
