Yeah the lineups are pretty awesome, but I personally think there's too much to fit into each episode, no wonder it seems like there's no action, I can't wait to see the gold and silver bros in battle
Is all you do bash the anime? The anime has to change some things such as the amount of swearing and also how gruesome the blood scenes are because it is targeted at a wider audience.
Also with the Dan and Chouza conversation the anime did it better the kinkaku and ginkaku part I don't know why they said they beat the 2nd that part is true I don't know who translated this but people can make mistakes so don't blame the animators. I have seen mistakes from subtitles before.
The manga is for canon the anime is for entertainment the anime does not follow the manga exactly if it did it would be boring they put the scenes in an order that make more sense and add more to scenes to make it longer. Well actually that have to do this because if they didn't all we would get is a still shot with colour, is that what you want?

Even in the manga the war was moving slow at this point in the war the Kinkaku and Ginkaku is where it all took off. Remember only one battle has happened, and the only other battle that is taking place is the close combat unit vs white zetsu. That fight is basic and nothing really interesting happens it is just that unit being taking on 100's and 100's of zetsu trying to hold them off so they don't pass and enter the other battles.

I love the little things the anime adds. Like the entire scene with Temari and Shikamaru. Temari going all tsundere on Shika and those two girls was awesome. It made the episode for me.
And the interaction between Deidara and Kankuro.
Things like this the manga doesn't have time for. Frankly, the manga sucks for character development and has for a long time. Unless you are an Uchiha, Naruto, or a major villain.
Can you give at least 2 reasons why because I really like the anime and a few people complain but I can't see what they are talking about? The war was moving slower in the manga at this point but from the Kinkaku and Ginkaku and after is where the war picked up. So how is the anime trolling when nothing has started yet?
I liked seeing Hizashi being able to use kaiten/rotation because it was never shown anywhere he could do this. Would have liked to see him genle fist a few fodders to death too but I guess they don't want to make Neji's father seem evil. Also the combat scenes with him and Hiashi were a little more detailed than in the manga where they're just slap boxing for one panel. Since I wanted to see more of the both of them, I can appreciate the little details they add to the anime.

Anyways all i complained about were the translations went from Kakuzu getting cursed out by Hidan to what it is now where they can't say the dead ass second Hokage. The anime is already taking away from their character. They didn't change from the cursing when Kilerbee called Sasuke a dumbass, bastard etc. it was targeted to the same audience a year or two ago that it is targeting now.
The whole scene where they explain Kekkei Tota was okay, but I never understood why they just couldn't have the Kages explain it like they did in the Manga.

They copied exactly what happened in the manga but added flashbacks instead of a few fight scenes. The addition of fight scenes would actually be this "entertainment" that you called the Anime. Now I understand they add that so it won't catch up with the manga so I don't really complain about it, but I do notice it. Naruto is near the the top in terms of Anime, but they can't make better Animation? It's 2012 they shouldn't be as inconsistent as they have been recently.

The kages did explain it last episode but the anime can fit much more into one episode to make the episode longer, or they can just follow the manga exactly but then people would complain it is going to fast so they have to do stuff like that.
Personally I don't blame the anime for not adding new fight scenes because when they do I come to base and all I heard is not canon. It's like in generations they done stuff like hashi vs madara and young kakashi vs minato for entertainment for us because kishi hasn't had time to show us what really happened as he is doing the manga so they give us slight indications of things happened just for the fans. Yet all people can say is not canon so why should the anime bother? Why should they show kakashi rampage if people are just going to bash it.

I saw people saying not cannon about the video about gaara and sasuke on another thread in this form and I was like wow people really don't like it when the anime does things then I come to this thread and I see almost the same people asking for more action from the anime :shrug: but if they do add more action like they did in generations people complain and when they don't people demand for more action? I don't get it.

Yh I only read the manga because the anime takes to long and I just can't wait to find out what happens next but I understand they have to in order so they don't catch up. Also I do like getting information straight from kishi even tho sometimes translations can mess it up.
I am going to start doing naruto episode disscusion threads every Thursday so we can talk about what was epic in the anime and maybe any major mistakes they made. From next week is where some of the real battle will start so I think discussions threads might be useful.
Good episode overall. Can't wait to see Kin and Gin bros fight. They added a couple of nice touches, like Kitsuchi smashing the two Zetsus into the ground.
