Okay, so a lot of threads in this section have been complaining about the low quality animation in the anime recently (and I agree), and then there has been outcry about how now March will be all filler episodes right when everyone thought Madara was going to appear.

The quality of the animation is just...disgraceful. After the filler though, some major stuff is going to happen, we all know. We all want it to be WELL ANIMATED, right? So...my question is...would you rather wait longer (like an extra week between episodes or something) for better quality or would you like it to stick to how it is?

I know it will never change but I just want to know if the quality has gotten bad enough in your opinion to warrant that.

I would rather wait another week. It's atrocious.

watching the episodes as they came out used to be something to look forward to... its gotten to the point where all i care about is the new chapter being released every week for the manga...

Same, same. I used to look forward to it because it was supposed to show just how epic certain moments from the Manga were (not that they weren't cool in the Manga too) but now, even during the war where tons of epic fights are happening, the animation is just terrible.

I'd rather wait an extra week.

I was watching Part 1 the other day, and the animation during the fight between Sasuke and Orochimaru in the Forest of Death was amazing. It was significantly better than the quality of more recent episodes. Even early Shippuden animation looked great in comparison to what we get now.

Having more time might not remedy the animation problem. More time spent on an episode also creates more man-hours spent on it, which equals a larger cost to make the episode. A more expensive episode. How much money they have to put into it is a factor too, don't forget.

i'd wait a weak, but i don't wanna watch 4 fillers straight up and wait 4 weeks and then still have shitty animations, similar to how after chikara crap we got nagato vs naruto with horrible animation

I don't entirely agree though that the quality of animation has gone down. I tried to find differences but I can't really find significant ones when comparing Naruto with early Shippuden, mid shippuden and now. There are just some episodes that are either crappy or really good.

Team 7 during the chunin exam vesus Orochimaru was awesome. Hiruzen vs. Edo Tobirama and edo Hashirama was awesome. Some parts of Sasuke vs Naruto were awesome, but other than that Naruto was pretty much the same all over. Same goes for Shippuden. Kakashi, Ino, Choji and Shikamaru vs Kakuzu and Hidan was awesomely animated, Taka vs Killer Bee was pretty sweet, Six-tailed Naruto vs. Pain... well... that's the major exception in the entire franchise. I can write pages full why that was just utterly horrible, but the main reason was the physical shapes of the characters were just gone... They turned into goo and then changed back to normal somehow, especially the six-tailed Naruto. The manga has that thing so awesomely drawn and in the anime it looks like it came straight from the looney tunes.

Anyway, back to the point. Some episodes are bad, some are good, some are absolutely excellent... but overall it is just average and it depends on which team is handling the job, I guess.
