Animated Pics.

I've noticed people saving moving or animated pictures to albums, or as avatars, or for profile decoration, etc...

Well, I have to download all my pictures before I can use them, so how do I save them so they will still be animated/moving when I upload them here?

I.E. If I was to download matrix code (moving on line) to my computer, if I where to open the file, it would be a still shot. How do I fix this?

Well, take your sig for example. I just right clicked, and chose save image as. Now, its just a still shot on my computer.

certain programs wont open Gif's animated, but they are still animated

I know there are two different type of endings (Jpg and Png?) does that make a difference?

if the program has gif on it...well the animation should work...

..when you upload it as a gif it works on internet

the animated ones a gifs,
and png are with better quality ^^
