(Earth. Year 2894. Scientists working in America discovered something that would change the lives of all Fauna (animals) living on Earth.)
(A scientist is shown in a high-tech laboratory, among other scientists, mixing chemicals together while apart from the other group of scientists. Another scientist approaches the one separate from the others referring to him as Dr. Stevens.)
???: Your still working on that?
Dr. Stevens: Yes, Dr. Nodges I am still working on this I've invested 5 years of my life into it so you know I can't give up at this point in time.
(Dr. Nodges paces around Dr Stevens' work area gazing at his work. Stevens does not look at him directly but the expression on his face shifts from a hard working individual to a angry, annoyed mother.)
Dr. Stevens: I don't mean to be rude but do you mind? I'm trying to work on something that can possibly change the world as we know it , but instead I have you hanging off the side of my shoulder, breathing down my neck.
(Dr. Nodges walks away. Dr. Stevens ,while Nodges' back his turned, opens his mouth to utter an apology but he immediately shuts it and resumes his work.)
Dr.Stevens:(speaking under his breath) Now that he's gone I can re-
(The material that Dr. Stevens is working on starts to sizzle whilst a giant column of smoke rises from it catching the attention of the other scientists present in the spacious laboratory. Dr. Steven's eyes open wide, his mouth open in awe as he stares at the column of smoke rising)
Dr. Stevens: I- I've done it. After 5 years... I.. I've finally done it.
(Nodges walks closer to Stevens waving his arm back and forth to clear a path through the smoke)
Dr. Nodges: Done what?
Dr. Stevens: I have created a synthetic protein.
Dr. Nodges: A synthetic protein... don't you think that is a little far-fetched. I know you're brilliant but still a syn-
Dr. Stevens: (interrupts Nodges) I have. By extracting the protein from this piece of pork here I have carefully studied the structure of the protein and in turn created a synthetic protein.
(Nodges looks into the microscope and observes the synthetic protein and smiles at it with amazement)
Dr. Nodges: This is amazing. What did you use to make the protein?
Dr. Stevens: Various things but never mind that. This is a breakthrough discovery that the world must be informed of. Using this protein we can inject it into various foods and we will never have to slaughter another animal again. The human race and that of animals everywhere can live side by side in peace, without the animals having to fear their demise at the hands of farmers who sell their flesh to feed families just craving it.
(And so, the world soon found out about this groundbreaking discovery. All over the globe countries were using this synthetic protein. Eventually, nations started producing synthetic food which was a sphere of gray mush injected with the synthetic protein. Over time, Dr. Stevens even created a synthetic fat among other things. However, as the synthetic foods started to become to popular, the usefulness of animals started to decline. Farmers no longer needed to slaughter their pigs, chickens, or cows because they could easily go to work in the synthetic food manufacturing factories and find a decent wage, benefits, and working conditions there. The produce sections of grocery stores soon became nothing but a new home for Synthetic Foods. Animals became nothing more than just a burden, a waste of space, and even called "freeloaders" by some major political leaders. As a result plans were made to send all the animals of Earth far into space, so that with them gone, mankind could further develop their cities into the most remote places of the world without ever having to worry about animal retaliation. Between the years of 2950-2986 the Animal Hope space ships were built which were 100,000 Colossal-sized space ships .Pet owners and such were given the option to keep their pets if they chose and most did but any stray, feral, or wild animal seen were sedated on sight and sent to these ships by the AEC (Animal Evacuation Company). On the year 3,000 the ships were launched and set a preset-course for a large planet ,5 times the size of Earth, 13 light years away. This planet was named Animalia, the kingdom of all animals, for it's inhabitants.)
