U know all those ugly diseases people get a vaccin for once every so many years. The reason they excist is because of animal testing.
All those needles u got when u were a child.. the sacrifices of those animals is why they are on the market.. Is there really an alternative?

Gotta test the products on something. We could do it on humans, but then there's a little problem called "ethics". A product generally has to be proven reasonably safe before it goes to human testing. I'd rather see it just tested on people though

it's pretty stupid to test on animals something you wanna use in humans, we are really different from guinea pig/rat/monkey/etc

also it's not ethic neither human to do that.
no matter if it's for makeup or other products, alternatives exist since decades now but animal testing is a freaking disgusting lucrative business, that's why it doesn't stop and not because it's relevant neither needed for us.



95% of drugs passed by animal tests are immediately discarded as useless or dangerous to humans.

Up to 90% of animal test results are discarded as they are inapplicable to man.

Animal tests and human results agree only 5%-25% of the time.
