Im not all that knowledgable about eastern cultures so someone smarter than me could really help
What do the various animals symbolize in eastern culture? Ie the toads why are they the sage? The fox, sasukes hawk, guys turtle, tsunades slug, etc

I think fox is sly and cunning and disguised in ancient folklore, hawk probably means in this narutoverse ascending to a new level and no longer crawling like a snake, slug>snake>frog in battle xd
