This is why I don't buy or play new games fresh after release.
Ugh..... Just, ugh.......

I just want Dishonored 2, Mass Effect Andromeda & someday Borderlands 3 to get here.

The developer took one too many pages from Peter Molyneux: Say lots of cool things that you'll put in the video game, put little to none of it in the actual game. People will give in to the hype and buy the game on release and suddenly wonder "wait, where's all the features this guy promised?". But the game developers and the company will say "we already got your money, bro!"

I was skeptical from day one, so I was not surprised when it turned out that No Man's Sky was "One Man's Lie" as Angry Joe coined. There is a such thing as "way too ****ing big". I should know, I played Daggerfall. But even Daggerfall had many of the features as described before it was released! They didn't sweep the gamerbase in lies.

The real problem is that developers believe they can get away with it. The scary thing is, they are right, because naive people forget that developers have their vices and goals that they will achieve by any means necessary.

Well you didn't buy this. Glass half full.

I never buy games until quite some time after they've been released (for incite on DLC & TONS of patches). And I NEVER preorder.

So EA got it all from politics? LOL

Honestly, I think everyone and their mother are being WAY to harsh on this game. Granted, there are some valid points Joe made in his rant - but I'd say 80% of his complaints are frankly uneducated complaints; what people need to understand going into this game, is that this is an INDIE game. This is a game made by a team of (i believe) six - they did not have the resources or the manpower to make this game what everyone wanted. Further more, a large majority of the complaints I've heard is the lack of any real multiplayer - yet the developers have consistently mentioned that you should not go into this game with hopes of multiplayer. Possible, yes. Realistic, no.

I very much enjoy this game for what it is; It's a game all about exploration in a universe level sandbox. And while again, it has flaws, Im a lot more understanding of it's limitations because I know not to expect the quality of a AAA game. At least not yet (the developers have said they will continuously add expansions/updates)

Developers are a bunch of ignorant liars. Community has all the right to go as harsh on this game as possible. However, going mad on this product has recently become somewhat of a trend among popular youtubers in order to gain views, likes and subscribers. Pathetic.

No, it's not an indie-game, it's a full price game for 60 bucks. It's a full price title. And even if it was an indie-game, you just can't promise multiple features as if they were already implemented, just to let people find out otherwise once they payed for it.

Sean Murray simply lied. Multiple times. That's a no-go. The title "One Man's Lie" is perfectly fitting and I'm glad I didn't buy this game for what it is. Trash.
