[Photoshop] Angel: My first air sig.

Ok, so this is my first air sig. It was done for a request in the GFX request threads.
First I did a tryout on my own head, turned up really bad, afterwards I watched a tutorial (Eternity's to be more exact), got some brushes and started working.

This is the result:

Well, If I would've worked better at the details, it would've worked with that one as well. Is kinda the same basic thing I did with the 1st one, only that with few adjustments. xd

Okay then I am gonna try to make an attempt at CnCing it ^^"
Its much better than many of air sigs I have seen :3
In air sigs the renders shouldn't be cut off as in not necessarily from the bottom but from the above. In this render the left wing is cut off but dont worry its not your fault but keep it in mind when you make another :3 Just one thing ruining imo is the 'black atmosphere' behind. Some of it seems like an attempt at shadows which aren't falling properly. Just refer to the render to see where the light is falling from which in this case is the top right corner and make the shadows fall correspondingly. Make an attempt at making an air sig with a cleaner bg ... might turn out well imo lol I always change the font size to make cnc look small ;___; I think it is a good attempt tho

Yeah the render was the request so, yeah. I noticed that too.
As for the shadowing I had the impression it will be to faded so I added it...guess that it wasn't that good, hehe.

When you said clear background you were reffering at the brushes from behind or at the whole shadow thing?
