Hey gentlemen and gentlewomen! It's time for another Andy's DAILY MOVIE REVIEW!!
Today's featured film: Star Wars - The Phantom Menace 3D
...wait....wut?
Didn't I already do this? No. The last time I came across this film was a reccomendation. Now, I'm reviewing it. Big difference. Plus, I've never come across the 3D version of the film. I reccomended the first episode in general last time...OK. Let's do this.
As part of a 6 part saga, The Phantom Menace kicks off the story with Obi Wan Kenobi and Qui Gon Jinn, an apprentice and his master, facing a coming threat from the evil Trade Federation, and an unstoppable force that is Darth Maul. Along the way, they befriend a young boy, Anakin Skywalker. And it's all in....3D.....weeeee....
Yeah, I know, another freakin' 3D film! BUT! It's not as bad as it seems! They really kept true to the original version (except for the fact that they turned Yoda into CGI form and the Subulba pod explosion had a little bit more...y'know...*umph*. The film was fantastic and a must watch for the average Star Wars fan.
This film is rated PG for sci-fi action/violence.
