Hey gentlemen and gentlewomen! It's time for another Andy's DAILY MOVIE REVIEW!!
Today's featured film: Safe House
In this film, Ryan Reynolds stars as character Matt Weston, a CIA rookie who is in charge of manning a safe house in Cape Town, South Africa. When a group of mercenaries take over the safe house during the interrogation of the CIA's most wanted rogue agent, Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington), Matt and Tobin flee the safe house to avoid the gunmen, and find another safe house....did I mention safe house?
It was a very good film. I believe Denzel did an excellent job in his part. The action sequences could have been better, though. It seemed like all they were doing is talking and not enough...y'know...KAPOW! ZAP! BOOM! SKADOOSH! POP! OW! WTF! SERIOUSLY, STOP IT!
This film is rated R for strong violence throughout and some language.
