Hey gentlemen and gentlewomen! It's time for another Andy's DAILY MOVIE REVIEW!!
Today's featured film: Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengance
MAN! I'm so f**king tired from staying up all night to the midnight premiere of this film...and I suppose it was kind of a waste of time. Let me explain.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengance stars Nicholas Cage as Johnny Blaze or "Ghost Rider", while he is hiding in Eastern Europe. He is then called upon to stop the devil from taking human form through a little boy named Danny (Fergus Riordan). At first he declines, but decides to try for the possibility he may rid his curse. Throughout the film, he rivals Roarke Carrigan (Johnny Whitworth), also known as Blackout.
This film, to be honest, felt like the last one (if not worse). Nothing to "razzle-dazzle" the crowd, but it certainly rises to its standards as far as special effects and action sequences deliver. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengance (or "Ghost Rider 2") is a film that I would possibly only go see once...then maybe buy the DVD...or the VHS.
This film is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of action and violence, some disturbing images, and language.
