I am still trying to figure that one out as well. Maybe stress or that he was originally way older than them, or the prime of SS life is way longer than once you are out of your prime.

Same reason why Unohana.. who was a demon in Yamamoto's prime 1000 year ago didn't age like Moto.

Tell me, where do you get the notion that Yamamoto is the strongest Shinigami? Where was this ever stated? It wasn't.

Yamamoto said that no one born in the last 1000 years has surpassed him. Some, if not all, the RG are much older then 1000. The fact that Yamamoto said "in the last 1000 years" and not "ever" implies that there where people born before 1000 years that where stronger then him. Ōetsu and Ichibei are two of those people.

Because it was 1000 years ago that he attained his powers..... O_O. Hence why Shinsui also stated "BEFORE YAMAJI BOUGHT HIS POWER, Unohana was a demon"...... Everything changed when Yamamoto came into play..

He is the head of "SHINIGAMI"... RG are shinigami also.

Yep, the children aged, but what about those like Unohana who were shown to be adults over 1000 years ago, but they don't look older by that much. I.E. Unohana. Or what about zero squad who some of them have been around since the beginning presumably, but they don't look nearly as old as yamamoto.

Simple answer they are not as old as Yamamoto.

As KA said.. they were probably not near the same age physically when they died as Yamamoto.
