It is Naruto with modifications here and there. But the original Naruto was actually fun to watch. Remember the chunnin arc? Nothing compares
Well the chunnin exam arc in the manga was 100 times better than the movie one since the manga one was longer and not rushed like the movies limited length forced. In the original one in the manga the best part really isn't even really Naruto or team 7 as a whole but they are a part. The best part is simply seeing all the new ninja's introduced with their cool techniques and unique backstories and seeing how they all matched up against each other. The movie really did not give any mention to the other characters besides brief glimpses and really only focused on Bort's struggles and that is it. That is the reason I think the movie and the manga version as well were not that good compared to the original Naruto manga chunnin exam. Really the only good part of the movie was seeing Naruto and Sasuke fight the villain. Bort's whole story seemed forced and just annoyed me.

Okay, so even though I'm excited for the new manga and anime, it doesn't change the fact that some wise words remain true even after so many years.

And writers dare to mention on every single page of every single chapter that Boruto is not going to follow Naruto's steps xD

Funny.

boruto can't make as many as naruto so he's gonna have to use his head more as opposed to just bumrushing his opponent. Also naruto needed shadow clone to get out of academy and become genin

Boruto had shadow clone before he even went into academy.

Gaiden's entire theme of bonds beyond blood was shattered just to please the butthurt SS fans.
Kind of like the garbage that was the Last used to please rabid Naruhina fans. Plus I feel like the Gaiden was truly intended to troll and sort of bash Sasusaku so that is kind of expected. The last was a genuine attempt to make Naruhina look good and it failed massively and Simpy made all the characters look worse while shitting on the direction the series was going on anyway just to please SP obsession about Hinata.

NaruHina is the best developed pairing though, so The Last succeeded in what it set out to do.

What direction? The first series was done and The Last was part of the epilogue.

The Last was made by Kishimoto, not SP. :lol

The Last was complete garbage and even most Naruhina fans largely acknowledge that. Kishi originally planned to simply not show how anyone got together and just jump from chapter 699 to chapter 700 with everyone already together. It was only after SP absolute insistence that he made a movie about Naruhina. Even there his involvement really only went into the character designs and a few things like including the scarf (LOL what a terrible suggestion). He let SP do the rest expecially when it came to writing their craptastic love story. Really Naruto only liked Sakura because of a rivalry and though Hinata's confession meant she liked him like ramen and he only realized how much he truly loved her after a forced genjutsu scene? How great the movie was indeed.

No, The Last was planned since 2012. And so what if he didn't "originally" plan it lmao, neither was Sasuke originally planned, how does that devalue its existence?

Source for the bold.

Doesn't matter how much involvement he himself had, as he isn't even 100% responsible for even the manga. Naruto was never a one-man thing, so why would a movie be so as well?

Don't forget that Hinata was one of the first character to be illustrated by Kishimoto which obviously was planned before hand when he did a previous series called Mario and the main heroine looked exactly like Hinata. Kishimoto even stated in the interview that he planned NH from the beginning but obviously we know how it turned out :lol

I was talking about the movie not the pairing as a whole. I do not care when he says in his contradicting interviews when exactly he planned his shitty pairings out.

I don't care what anyone says the only character Bort reminded me of is Naruto. I mean in the first episode he completely changed a boys outlook on life and turned him into a total fanboy just by getting loud and giving a speech as well as fighting a little bit. The second episode he changes another students mindset just by getting loud, fighting and giving a speech. If that does not remind you of Naruto then you have not been paying attention.
I don't know if you were watching episode 2 correctly or not, but Iwabe did not change his mind when Boruto told him he was just acting up because he hated studying.

Iwabe got pissed and went for his staff, and Inojin called him out, and he was the one who stopped Iwabee. Which resulted in the respect.

Denki is trash tho so I can't even argue for that, but this is SP's writing.

The point is that I find the movie unnecessary when NH was set in stone since the beginning and it should've happen after the Pain arc but instead Kishi milk it and throw Neji out of the picture to make NH a thing which didn't happen until the movie. =/

That is what I was saying. The Last is crap just like the Gaiden was.

Well if you think about it, with the Naruto series, every character that had parents at home were basically carbon copies of their parents minus Sakura who parents weren't even shinobi. We never saw Lees but he was a carbon copy of Gai, Sasuke and Naruto are exceptions due to their family circumstances.
That being said its natural to see some similarities but I would really like to see the authors earn their money and really get creative this time around. there is so much material from the original series that they could build on and give us some bad azz new techs with these characters.

Hinata/Hyuga fans in general live in a parallel world where they create their own version of the manga and live by it.

But, of course, it's all in their head.
NH is the best developed pairing even if it isn't good per say. Certainly beats the likes of any of the other canon ships, all of which didn't even have any explicit romantic development (ShikaTema, ChoKarui, SaiIno), and it certainly surpasses the abusive one-sided shallow "bond" of SS. To think someone who advocates SS would even say such a thing :lol

"NH is the best developed pairing"

- 38 interactions in 710 chapters
- 1 garbage filler-ish movie to try and shove that forced pairing down on our throats

Yeah of course, whatever makes you sleep at night. :lol

I mean, they weren't wrong...Naruto wasn't a romance manga. It technically IS the most explored romantic relationship. Far from the best IMO but that's irrelevant.

No, it is not the best. Not at all.

Hinata spends her entire life trying to get Naruto to notice her, Naruto spends his entire life ignoring her. Out of nowhere, just like magic, a person dies and finally, he suddenly notices her. After that, no interactions, but a filler-ish movie to shove that forced romance down our throats.

Wow, much development, such a beautiful and non forced pairing. :lol
