I have finally completed my uchiha ancestor eye complete theory! (yes, this is the second version of something I already made, don't get angry about it please?) If you don't want to read the proof, go to Part 4: Conclusion. Please don't hate on this theory until you read my first two parts and fifth part?

Part 1: Uchiha ancestor eye is a more advanced standard sharingan.
First, look at this image of the eye.
Doesn't it look a bit like one of those hypnotic wheels? that matches with normal sharingan because of the hypnotic eye trait of standard sharingan.
Look at it again. It also looks like the inside iris of a camera. This is because of the insightful eye, which can see things in slow motion like a camera, tracking their movements. It also can copy what it sees perfectly like a camera taking a video and playing it back.
Next, the camera looking aspect also explains several other things.
First, cameras can see in the dark, referencing the sharingan, "eyes that see in the dark"
Second, It explains izanami, which is the sharingan taking a photo of a moment and playing it back in a loop.
The spiral shape also looks like an uzumaki seal, which may describe the eye's random ability to seal stuff and the fact that mangekyou sharingan get sealed away. (Blind)

With this assumption, I can only think of one kind of chakra the normal sharingan couldn't already see... Natural chakra.
This means the more powerful insightful eye might be able to see natural chakra because that is the only thing it couldn't already see.
This means that any user of these eyes would have a natural advantage in sage mode, being able to sense it without sitting still.
Also, this goes with the fact that the uchiha ancestor was supposed to have inherited the "sage eyes" which may literally refer to the eyes powers.
The normal sharingan takes chakra to use and strains the human body. The ancestor eyes, being even more powerful, must take even more power to use. It also causes bleeding in mangekyou form.
This is likely to only be able to be used effectively if the user is in sage mode, which strengthens the body and provides much more chakra.

Part 3: Origin of susanoo
The susanoo is a confusing topic, of which my theory is the least developed. Basically, I believe that the susanoo is a mix of the sage chakra that is stored in the eyes, and the power of the so6p inside of him. Everyone after him had too thin a bloodline to activate it without mangekyou sharingan.

Part 4: Conclusion
Basically, Indra's eyes are more powerful and older versions of the sharingan. While having more advanced versions of both hypnotic and insightful eyes, it is more draining and chakra consuming than normal sharingan. The power of this eye also allows it to see and contain sage chakra, which might make up for the severe chakra use of the eyes and strain on the users body.
Part 5: Possible Errors
1: The sharingan's sealing ability may not be actually a sharingan ability, but instead an ability that sasuke made just to beat orochimaru.
2: The assumption that the powers of the sharingan are more powerful just because his bloodline is "More Pure", instead of the possibility that the sharingan actually advanced over time, which is also possible.
3: That sage chakra has anything to do with susanoo, which doesn't have any proof.
4: I have no idea what the implications of the advanced hypnotic eye might be, having only looked into the insightful eye.
5: Very little facts are used in this theory, mostly visual insight.
