ANBU

I was thinking the last thing i can ever remember anything about ANBU, was back when Orochimaru and the Sand attacked Konoha. I would kill to see some more ANBU action, that don't die within the same episode they where introduced in. (Yes i know the 2 new animes came out about a single ANBU, that doesn't count -.-) How do you guys feel about this?

Well he's actually root, and since Danzo's death is was disbanded. So hes just kind of a ninja now.

Very true, but still disbanded so idk what happened to Sai officially after that. But i am just wanting to see an ANBU squad fighting, like in this war. I would be so pleased.

Yeah, it's great how the Anbu were introduced as a super-elite group of ninja assassins and they pretty much get owned upon every single appearance.

Yeah, but you're just kind of naming members. I want a full fledged ANBU squad fighting the whole 9 yards, and them to actually make an impression that they are ANBU Rank for a reason, not just fodder in the Oro/Sand arc.

And yeah I feel kinda ripped off. When I saw Haku and they explained about ANBU I thought the idea was freaking sweet. A group of elite black ops ninja that wear cool masks all the time. Now they're complete fodder like everyone else that isnt a kage, rocking a sharingan, or has senju DNA. I feel robbed.
