ANBU?

Where the heck are the ANBU during this war? Are they just among all of the other fodder ninjas or were they disbanded after Danzo died?

Anbu are fodder. They get owned by Orochimaru's fodder experiments.

They arent considered anbu in the war they are just regular fodder. I mean the only anbu we know of anyway are sai and yamato and thats it. Any character without a face is automatically fodder because you know they are not important so kishi is going to dispose of them.

Danzo was in command of root ANBU,different thing than ANBU.They are among the others ninjas who went to war.
And I don't think they are fodder.Yamatos is pretty strong.

of course yamato isnt fodder but the ones with no face are. Fodder= dumb, unresponsive ninja who just so happens to forget their training when going against the enemy.

LOL, YOUR FUNNY; But seriously, what about that purple hair woman, who Tsunade said was equal to Kakashi in power and intelligent and had her watch over the circle while pain was wrecking HAVOC. She's good, too bad we dont and we never see her face plus i cant tell when last i've seen her in action, since the war.

her name is Yūgao Uzuki and I also liked her but she made her appearance in part 1 during chunnin exams ;then in 12 ninja guardians and then in pain arc ...
but she hasn't been shown much more off and she not even shown in the war arc and even Moegi made appearance than her
