I don't get what the point of bringing that up would be when you replied to someone talking about crossing an even greater distance really fast.

You do know how fast the avergae human in real life can cross 50m right? But, im going to assume Anbu Kakshi is fast as hell so if he doesn't take out Gaara asap then the he is done.

Disregard the 50yd / 50m comment. I was just discerning the two, I was about to give Gaara another speed feat because of the fact yds are shorter than meters. But I won't.

Anyways, if you read through the thread, I've already killed every argument pertained to Kakashi. Gaara goes aerial instantly, and drowns Kakashi in sand. The end.

Temari and Kankuro are irrelevant here. It's really ANBU Kakashi vs. Gaara... and what we know of that Kakashi can be counted on one hand. And "Pre-Shippuden" is a really vague statement in terms of Gaara, whose picture you posted is that of him at the Chunin Exams. That Gaara relies on Shukaku if things get heavy, but Sasuke Retrieval Arc Gaara relied on his own sand techniques like Sabaku Taisou if things spiral... Which are we talking about?

Like most things though, this probably depends on how fast the match ends. His automatic defence was outpaced by CE Sasuke, so chances are that Kakashi will do it somewhat easier since he was slightly older/more developed. Kakashi wins if he can shut Gaara down before Shukaku/ST pops out but not after. Being a "focus" type, he's probably not cut out to handle avatars and large scale jutsu.


It's all hearsay really though, because we don't canonically know much about ANBU Kakashi. If the fillers were anything to go by, he could spam Chidori/Raikiri + Sharingan all day long.

Yes in theory Gaara could just insta-solo, but in mindset Gaara is rightly confident in his auto defence and normal arsenal, and has never just jumped to his trump card off the bat. I like Gaara too, but let's be realistic here.

Here we go with this Mindset bullshit.

First off, this thread hasn't stated to have a mindset, so we can infer that there isn't one, and it's simply debater controlled. SECONDLY, mindset is a JOKE.

In every debate that has the mindset set to "in character" the debaters always debate different from what the character would do. Even then, how are we to infer what a character would ACTUALLY do if we haven't seen them fight x or y? WE CAN'T. Mindset stipulations are literally the dumbest things that can ever exist in a match-up, and shouldn't even be configured in.

We as debaters use Kishimoto's own idea (characters) better than he did/could. Leaving mindset on limits us to a restricted, form of the character that Kishimoto hasn't explored.

On top of, like I previously stated. No one adheres 100% to the in character mindset.

So everything I said stands 110% true. And Gaara absolutely, positively destroys Kakashi here. You may like Gaara, but there's hardly anyone on the forum that f*cks with him like I do. I know what he can, and can't do. And this is something he can do with ease.

b. Gaara in Pt.2 can make Sand Tsunami's larger than Water Dome, KG agreed, as well as others.
